State & National Platforms

Service is a large part of the Miss America Organization. While each contestant is required to have their own social impact cause, the state and national programs have a cause that they promote as well. Miss America's national platform is Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, and Oregon's State platform is Every Child Oregon. Click the images below for more information.
Miss contestants are required to raise $100 for CMN Hospitals per local competition, and
$250 for CMN Hospitals to compete for Miss Oregon. While Teen contestants are required to pay a $100 entry-fee to compete in a local, they are required to raise $100 for CMN Hospitals in order to compete for Miss Oregon's Outstanding Teen.
